yeah, craappy day here too, though my dryer came thru with flying colors (seems my hubby's complusions to clean the lint screen all the time, pays off).
Tomorrow, the heat alarms...found my ear plugs so I dont loose my hearing again this year, then I can put my stuff back...so yes, more cleaning /bleh

looking forward to a calm normal wednesday though.

I am doing alright. Enjoying GW2 about as much, if not more than when I started playing GW.

As for this site after conversion... One less site to bookmark. Curse can go suck it honestly. Ill stick around IRC cuz I like some of the people, but forget the sites. Ill stick to the official forums or none at all.

Glad inspections are past. Apparently our school had inspections last week. Two people randomly walking into my room and then asking me random questions about my room. Lots of fun. >.>

Are you basically your own boss Malice? Cause the biggest issue I am having with work is not my students, believe it or not, it is the administration... Employee satisfaction is definitely at an all time low...

oh, I believe that....managers are the stupidest things around....hubby complains about his all the time....'dumb managers want us to build a whole data site by tomorrow and we havent even got any of the parts ordered' type stuff....back in the day---managers used to be just entry level peeps who got promoted, thus they KNEW how to do the jobs of those they managed...now, they are totally CLUELESS, AND they are the ones kept when payrolls are cut! (why would you keep people who, not only dont do any work, but also have no idea HOW to do the work that needs to be done?????).

oh yeah, I get to hear it just about everyday.

I wish I was my own boss... But sadly, that is not how education works. Instead they just keep adding more and more things on us. Lets add another policy that will make things better! Screw them... And the fact that any time teachers want more money, we are deemed "the bad guys" and everyone says we are over paid as is. And our job is soooo damn easy. >< Tired of that crap... Would love to see those people try to teach kids. Then they might understand....

teachers OVER paid??? more like not paid nearly enough! (yeah I have done it). now professional sports 'athletes' are WAAAAY overpaid. ceo's cfo's etc are all OVER paid (gee I lost my company 5 BILLION dollars last year, and I still got a 2 million dollar bonus!)

Yes well. It's more fun to say we are overpaid and then vote on giving themselves raises than admit that they, the politicians, are majorly screwed up... And ya, there are plenty of people that are overpaid, that is for sure. Plus people seem to think we get paid for 12 months out of a year? Nope. Just 9. But we can have our checks stretched out over 12.

I had chicken and mashed potatoes. It was okay, but nothing special...
